The author chose to become a man of the mountain in 1985, when he became weary of money and people after failing in business. Yet when he renounced the attachment to life, he began to see things with a new eye. It was then that he came to know Dongeuibogam. However, Shimcheon realized that there was no fundamental answer in the book and continued meditating to figure out the limitations of Dongeuibogam and the flaws of Western medicine. Then he created the treatment of phlebotomy as an alternative medicine. After a decade of clinical experiments, he now endeavors to spread Shimcheon phlebotomy as the fundamental alternative medicine for the health of the nation
